Tin Man
He sits and waits for answers to come to him.
Come with his presence, and you'll find
On which fire he lies today.
And no I don't claim, to know what that's like.
But I just don't see why you have to push,
and shove.
I don't, even try to pretend
I know the way it feels around that bend
But I just don't
See why you cover your ears
When you scream.
You scream that loud.
On the other side
Of this exterior.
There's a man who's willing to find.
The lighter side of everything.
But it's covered, and crusted
What remains holds no renown.
So he just has to dig a bit further
Each and every day.
No I don't claim, to know what that's like.
But I just don't see why you have to push,
and shove.
I don't, even try to pretend
I know the way it feels around that bend
But I just don't
See why you cover your ears
When you scream.
You scream that loud.
